Lady Luna saves the day ππ€
That was another incredible moment in Iceland. It was snowing all day long, and the roads to get to Hvitserkur were almost inaccessible. When I got there, it was low tide - no water reflection at all, skies were heavily covered by thick snow clouds. And still, I persisted and climbed down the cliff.
As I was descending, to the biggest of all surprises, the moon made a most unexpected entry!! Such excitement and gratitude! I had to work fast to get this shot, a bracket of 5 varying exposures was used to create this image.
20 minutes later, the clouds swallowed everything again. Complete darkness. Snowfall. No chance for aurora under the thick mantle of clouds. It was my last night in Iceland.
And so... Lady Luna saves the day π ππ€β¨
